Two independent counters, both written on the server, record consumption: the number of AI runs and the number of tokens. Both limits are stored on the plan and are checked separately before a request reaches a model. A run is not only a message in a conversation. The same entry is written when an image is generated, when several models are compared on one question, when a second opinion is requested, when the facts in an answer are checked and when individual claims are matched to sources — and equally when any of that is done from the phone application. Tokens are not taken from the model provider; they are estimated from the length of the instruction and the reply, which makes the figure an approximation rather than an invoice. Work resolved without a model, such as reading a fact straight out of an attached file, records no tokens at all. The usage panel inside the account shows where both counters stand and the date they start again.

Frequently asked questions
Will I get a VAT invoice?
Payments are handled online, and businesses receive VAT invoices. Limits are described in each plan, you can cancel anytime, and the panel shows your current billing status.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Go to Settings → Manage subscription → Cancel. After canceling you keep access until the end of the paid period, and the account then works according to the subscription state. No notice period and no penalty.
How does the annual option work?
The annual option means paying 12 months upfront. The exact amount is shown before payment, with no hidden surcharges.
How does launch access work?
Launch access is a manually confirmed offer for early Skald customers. After plan acceptance, the reduced price can be kept for 12 months. We confirm the details before payment activation.
What happens when I use up my monthly limit?
A warning appears when usage is high, and paid runs stop after the limit is reached. You can buy an add-on pack, change plan or wait for the next billing-period reset. We do not add automatic charges without confirmation.
Is my data used to train AI?
We don't use conversations for marketing or to train our own models. Data is processed to deliver the service, in line with the privacy policy and the rules of connected models. BYOK gives extra control over models and costs.
Can I customize Enterprise to my needs?
Yes. Enterprise is an individually negotiated offer: BYOK, SSO, retention policy, audit, setup, and integrations depend on the specific use case. Write to hi@hi-di.cloud describing your needs.
Do you support teams and how is it billed?
Team $25/user (minimum 3 people). Each user gets 1,500 messages / 200 premium per month + shared workspace, roles, audit trail, approval gates. Invitations in Team Settings, billing simply adds up — you add a member, the bill increases by $25.
